Ayurvedic Therapy Chicago: About Me
Monica has been studying Yogic Philosophy since 2001. She began her Ayurvedic studies at Maharishi University of Management in 2002, and completed programs in Ayurvedic theory, detoxification strategies, diet, and herbal applications.
She was individually selected by one of America’s exponent teacher’s of Ayurveda, Dr. Light Miller, as a Panchakarma apprentice.
She has also studied with Dr. Mark Helpurn of the California College of Ayurveda, Dr. John Hagelin of Maharishi University, Dr. Don and Amba Stapleton of Nosara Yoga Institute, and one of the foremost Western Scholars of Buddhism, Lama Surya Das.
She is a licensed massage therapist, certified yoga instructor, Panchakarma technician, and recipient of an Associate degree in Dhanvantari Ayurveda from the Florida Vedic College.
